TMI tag♥︎

Okay so no one actually tagged me, but screw it - I want to do it and thats a good enough reason for me, so lets get going.

Also I'm watching the last episode of friends and there is something wrong with the left phalangey and Rachel 'got off the plane'.. I'm crying.

1) What are you wearing? Pyjamas - the Christmas kind.

2) Ever been in love? Nope, but if celebrities count - then yes. (I sound incredibly sad)

3) Ever had a terrible breakup? Nope.

4) How tall are you? I think somewhere around 5'3 - Small anyways.

5) How much do you weigh? You never ask a lady how much she weighs.. Pfftttt.

6) Any tattoos? Nope but I plan on getting one/some in the future.

7) Any piercings? Double piercing on both of my ears.

8) Otp?
This is so hard but okay okay: Ross and Rachel (friends), Chuck and Blair (gossip girl), Tessa and Will (clockwork princess), I have so many more from both books and movies and tv shows but but..

9) Favourite tv show?
Gossip Girl and Friends, is it not obvious? However my current favourite is either American Horror Story or Skins.

 10) Favourite band?
The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, 5sos, One Direction, All Time Low, Mayday Parade, The 1975, Green Day, Family of the Year and I could really rant on forever but..

*Rachel got off the plane in Friends and I'm crying oh my gaaaaad*

11) Something you miss? Gossip girl, c'mon.. Give me one more season, please?

12) Favourite song?
At the minute I love 'Thunder Clatter' by Wild Cub and 'I wanna get better' by Bleachers.

13) How old are you? 16 - I feel like a little baby saying this..

15) Quality you look for in a partner?
Someone who is just genuinely really nice, easy to talk to and being funny is a maaaajor plus.

16) Favourite quote?
'Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. If one only remembers to turn on the light' - Dumbledore in Harry Potter (major nerd, I know) I also love the quote from Wuthering Heights -'Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same' (I'm such a hopeless romantic)

17) Favourite actor? I don't really have one, to be honest.

18) Favourite colour? Ugh I don't even have a favourite colour.. Maybe blue?

19) Loud or soft music?
Depends on the situation, if I'm sleepy/studying/chilling I would say soft but I do love loud music most of the time.

20) Where do you go when you're sad? My bed usually.

21) How long do you take in the shower?
If I'm just washing my hair and body - 10 minutes but if I'm exfoliating and shaving and the lot then it could range from 20-25 minutes..

22) How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
It all depends on where I'm going or how much time I have, I like to take my time getting ready so if I have the time it would be about an hour (that would be hair, makeup and the works) but usually only like 20 minutes.

23) Ever been in a physical fight?
Not a real one but me and my friend used to physically fight in a joking 'who's stronger way' (this sounds so bad, doesn't it?)

24) Turn ons?
I assume this means in a person? Being funny, gentlemanly-ness, tattoos, confidence, nicely dressed and a carefree attitude.

25) Turn offs?
Arrogance (not to be confused with confidence), rude and ungrateful people, being boastful and it's hard to describe but if you think of the boy described as a real 'lad' and is so cocky and just annoying and rude - I hate that. Like so much.

26) The reason I joined youtube? I haven't.. Yet...

27) Fears?
Huge, huge, huge fear of choking - if you so much as cough at the dinner table, I will freak out. I also fear boats, spiders, dying and slugs.

28) Last thing that made you cry?
I think it was from listening to a song the other day but I also cried heaps at the movie boyhood, it's not even sad.

29) Last time you said you loved someone? Probably last night to my Mum haha

30) Meaning behind your youtube name?
Well, I shall tell you the meaning behind my blogger name - basically my brother used to call me nestababy when I was little and I found a Christmas letter to Santa asking for a baby Man United kit  from 'Nestabaaby xx' (Big surprise as to who asked for a Man U kit for his baby sister)

32) The book you're currently reading?
The Great Gatsby - re-reading and re-re-reading it again for English Lit.

33) Last show you watched?
I'm watching X Factor as I type this and Cheryl is crying (and in other news water is wet) Can I also add how mean the whole 'seat' thing is? Were they get someones hopes up and it's so mean. I'm saying this because one of the boys I liked in it had to give up his seat *sad face*

35) The relationship between you and the person you last texted?
One of my close friends from school.

There is too much food to pick just one but maybe mexican or lasagne or chicken or pizza or potatoes (dammit)

37) Places you want to visit?
I want to see everywhere and everything! If I wrote them all on this post it would be miles long.

38) Last place you were?

48) Have you ever used it? Yes. It has worked and I have 18 children. (jokes, no I haven't used it)

49) Last time you hung out with anyone?
On Thursday I went shopping and got food with two of my friends after school.

50) Who should answer these questions next? Anyone who wants to:)

Thats it! I hope you enjoyed reading, I wanted to do something a little different like this, so if you read my blog you get a better idea of who I am etc:)

Toronto Treats! (haul)

A moment of appreciation for my Mum and Dad for trolling through Sephora, Mac, Lush and the lot, just to bring me back these goodies! I am in no way showing off here, I just really want to share with you what I got because I'm very, very excited!

Another thing, I am pretty sure (I think?) that certain brands are actually cheaper in Canada/Us so this also spurred on the excessive gift buying..

I'm going to begin with (in my opinion) the most exciting product which has been on my wishlist for aaaages and that is The Chocolate Bar palette by 'Too Faced'. This is the kind of item I would never go to buy myself - mainly because of the price tag - but oh my God it's literally so perfect. The first thing my Mum said to me when I opened it was 'Smell it! It smells of chocolate!! Isn't that cool?', the smell of it was about the last thing on my mind but it actually does smell of chocolate and it is very, very cool. I have already used this palette yesterday and I can't speak highly enough of it, the colours are gorgeous and so wearable, the pigmentation is amazing and they blend flawlessly, I have zero complaints.

Another item on my wishlist that the whole female population and their neighbour has heard of is the Anastasia Beverly hills Brow Wiz. I finally have it! Let's rejoice for the strong brow games to come. Also, completely random - not complaining just an observation - but the little 'Wiz' stick thing is so teeny! I wasn't expecting a brute of a thing but it's so small and skinny and cute. I'm in looove.

From Tarte my Mum picked me up the 12 hour Amazonian Clay foundation (another wishlist item - surprise, surprise). I also used this yesterday and the texture is so moussey and dream like, it lasted pretty much all day and I loved the coverage/ finish it gave.. Maybe a review to come? (after some more testing, of course!)

Whilst in Sephora, I was also treated to a new Sephora Brush set. There's something about getting new brushes that's just so exciting and great, that I can't fully describe it. This brush set comes with 7 brushes and a little brow comb (thingy). The brushes also come with a cute little case, which is very handy for travelling and keeping everything together. Also I apologise for the two brushes that are a little unclean - I used them this morning (A star for doing their job at being fab brushes)

I was also treated to a couple little goodies from Mac..  I got two eyeshadows in the shades: Shroom and Vanilla.  Shroom has a satin finish and Vanilla has a velvet finish - according to what it says on the packaging, ha. Both of these are very shimmery colours that would be beautiful for highlighting and using in the inner corner of the eye. The only slight difference between the two is that shroom is a little more on the taupe side. Super excited to try them out.

A mac classic, I finally got my hands on the Mac fluidline eye-liner gel in Blacktrack. I'm really excited to use this as it looks like a proper black-black and I have also heard some very good things about it..

(Oh heeeeey me, with my rather crap camera)

Holy grail status, Mac msf is my lifesaver. I can't leave the house without it, I have so much love for this product, I probably will never move on from it and I will refuse to use any other powder. I LOVE IT. (I wear light plus incase you were wondering)

Also my lovely mum got me a pro longwear blush from mac in the shade 'whole lotta love', what a cute name! Not really a blusher person but I'm very excited to use this, it's a gorgeous, deep pink colour, that I am terrible at describing. Laaaavely.

Oh how I love Lush.. I can't even explain why, I just do - like so much. My mum knows how much I love it too - most notably because I could spend about an hour in the shop (it smells good, okay?!)

As you can see, she bought me the lush Charity Pot which is basically a hand and body lotion/moisturiser which not only feels good but does good. How can you not feel good about buying this? You donate to charity by buying it and I just really love it's idea. It also smells great (no surprise).

A product I have never seen before whilst in lush is the cleanser Aqua Marina, it looks like it's rolled up in sushi form - basically because there is seaweed wrapped around it (how cool is that). Adding to the 'coolness' is that it's really thick/ almost solid and you basically add a little in your hand, add some water and presto! You feel like you've made your own cleanser. Trust me, it is just as satisfying as it sounds. (It's also inspired by mermaids, so fricking cool in my opinion)

And with that I am going to go write up my English lit essay (oh, the joys!)
Hope you enjoyed reading and snooping through my goodies! bye:)

What I ate today - Lunch

I may be telling a slight fib with the title.. But what am I going to say?! 'I ate this a couple days ago' or 'I remember this was tasty, here's a blogpost on it!', something tells me lying this once won't do too much harm.

So yes, this is what 'I ate today' and it was delishhhhh! First off, I believe it was pretty healthy (take away a couple of chocolate chunks and woah super healthy). It is also super easy and quick to make if you're on the go.
Let's crack on, eh?

For my smoothie, I simply added:
-1 banana
-1/2 an apple
-About 2 handfuls (as much as you want really) of frozen berries - strawberries, blueberries, etc.

*You can either use fresh berries but I love how the frozen berries make it like a slushie and it keeps it cold for aaaages.

For the food part, I had a slice of wholegrain toast with peanut butter, the other half of the apple, and 1 (or 2 if your feeling treaty) squares of 70% lindt dark chocolate chopped up.

And hey presto! You have yourself a tasty breakfast/snack/lunch. See how versatile this meal is? It's great and you can add/take away whatever you want from it!

Thanks for reading, bye guys!

Style Crushin'

Like marmite, you can either love or hate Cara Delevigne. Obviously since I'm dedicating a blogpost to her, I love her. She is my style/beauty/attitude inspiration (if you want to call it that).

I was a bit stuck on what to post onto here, but scrolling through Instagram inspiration hit. Cara Delevigne fans eat your heart out.

*none of these are my own pictures*

♥︎

I know this was from 2012 but her makeup is so on point here, I'm still striving to recreate it. Ah, everything about this picture is perfection - if I'm honest.

I just want to begin with her style because it's just so effortlessly cool. She wears clothes that I would be too scared to wear incase I wouldn't be able to 'pull it off', but she makes it looks so easy - which it probably is because she most likely threw it together last minute like the rest of us, but still, I am so in love with her style.

^ Personal favourite outfits ^

Can we also take a second to discuss how amazing she looked at the GQ awards?! Haaaawt.

I also want to say how much I love Cara's attitude. She is so carefree, unique and behaves as though she doesn't give a crap about what anyone thinks of her. I love this because I have such a struggle with the whole 'worrying over everyones judgements' and it makes me want to be a bit more like her.. (cringetastic but true)

She is literally the definition of cool.

I also want to applaud her for being suuuuch an all rounder. Everyone knows she is a model (obvs) but not as many realise she also acts, which I want to congratulate her on getting the lead in a John Green - book turned - film. I actually have read half the book but couldn't finish it because I didn't particularly enjoy it but I may give it another chance now, as I know how much of a cult following Mr.Green has.

Another thing she has dabbled in, is singing and I really liked Will Heard's acoustic version of 'Sun Don't Shine' in which she accompanied him. I would give it a listen, it's very good!

My two queens, Mossy and Cara. Aw look how cute they look together.. (I sound like such a creeper, I'm not - I promise, don't worry)

And I will leave you with that.
I am going to go now and dye my hair blonde, draw on some eyebrows and try to do about 5038498 sit ups to look a little more Cara-ish! (jokes)

New Purchases..

I know the title is a little strange but I couldn't bring myself to call this a haul because it's not really one to be honest, but I felt like I still needed to share it with you all.

As you see I picked up 3 items from Wet'n'Wild, basically because I have never seen it in Ireland and it's in the chemist beside my school so of course I got a little excited.

I picked up the 'Walking on Eggshells' 3 step eyeshadow palette. You can clearly see I have used this already and I actually love it so so much. It's so pigmented and the colours are so complementary. It was only £3.49 and I would honestly compare it to a high end eyeshadow, it's amazing. Complete bargain.

Next up I got two of their lipsticks and I know, I know they are near the same colour but I just really like my natural-ish colours and they were too gorgeous not to pick up both. The slightly darker colour is 'Rose Bud' and the lighter of the two is 'Just Peachy'. These are also such good quality for only £2.49 each! They have such a lovely formula and the colour is so pigmented. (everything is very pigmented, okay?! Ha)  I will definitely be back to add some more to my stash!;)
*They look like a red and orange in the picture but thats just my crappy camera haha*

The next two purchases are due to the great and godly Asos. I absolutely love Asos, it's just so handy, having so many brands at just a click of a button (I'm cringing at my cliche-ness)

First off lets welcome my beeeeeeautiful new boots. As I was saying I got these of Asos but they are actually from River Island *Get them here!*. They are described as red but I think they are more of a burgundy red colour, which make them very unique instead of boring old black boots (no hate to black boots) and they are the perfect shade for Autumn time in my opinion. I also love the little cut outs on the side which make them so cute and a little different than your average boot and for £35 I think they are very good!

A product I have been coveting for ages.. The 'Bahama Mama' bronzer from The Balm. I have heard so much about this little beauty and I am so chuffed to finally get my hands on it! Sadly they don't sell The Balm in stores in Ireland so I got mine off Asos for £13.50. As you probably notice in the picture I have already began using this bronzer and.. Oh. My. God. I am obsessed with it. It is amazing for contouring, like it's incredible. It is not orangey in the slightest and gives a very natural contour, I use my real techniques duo fibre brush to blend this in and it is just so so so beautiful. *Get your hand on it here!!*

New items are the best, I seriously think I have a shopping problem.
Have a nice day, byeee!

Topshop Haul ♥︎

Before you judge me for spending so much at once I actually didn't and these purchases have been spread out over 3 trips.. (this is me trying to justify my splurge to be honest)

(links will be underlined:)!)

The first thing I got (on my first run) was this Nasa badge print t-shirt which I think is so cool and so casual. My favourite part of the t-shirt is actually the back of it which is like this.. (picture below).

I also picked up a very pretty turquoise-y metallic colour nail polish in the shade 'Bound' which is gorgeous and not very autumnal but oh well!

Next up, I got the more expensive side of things on the internet. I always feel like I'm not actually paying for them - like I'm just getting free stuff in the post, but then I get my bank statement and realisation hits in. Is anyone else like this or is it just me?

In the picture you can't see very well but I got my first ever leather jacket and honestly I'm in love. The fit is so good, the material is soft, everything is great. It is collarless and I actually prefer it like that. It was £48 which I think is so reasonable for Topshop and because leather jackets can be pretty pricey. This jacket is made of faux leather but if you are like me and wouldn't notice the difference, I think you should definitely check this one out.

Next.. My new prize possessions, my lovely 'Grey Lenni Chunky Platforms' *sighs of happiness*. I am literally so happy with these because I find it so hard to get a nice pair of heels that fit me, are actually pretty and won't break the bank, so yes I am so excited to wear these out now.
*also they aren't that hard to walk in:)*

(Of course I gave them their own picture, who do you think I am?)

Now onto my final trip. I can defend myself here and say that I was returning a kimono (it looked nicer in the shop and I changed my mind at home) but I lost the receipt so I could only use the £48 on more clothes.. So of course I didn't object.

First off I got leggings and a grey v neck t-shirt (I can't find the t-shirt online but trust me it was very basic). These are very boring but quite essential, so why not include them.

I also picked up a baby pink nail polish in the shade 'Tickle Me..'. I can't fully describe the colour because it has like a cool 'sheen' off of it and this is so infuriating because I literally have no idea how to describe it other than pretty. (I shall include a picture at the end)

Next I picked up a style of top that I already have but this one is stripy. It is such a nice wearable top and I just love stripes to be honest. I have this top already in white and I get so much wear out of it and it is very flattering in my opinion. Pick it up HERE.

I very nearly forgot to include the last item! Another pair of shoooooes! These are the lovely 'Voltaire tumbled point shoes' which I think are going to be so handy for wearing with pretty much everything and are such a lovely material. However I still haven't tried them on yet, so fingers crossed.

And another haul is finished..

I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope you have a lovely day!:)
Byeeee!

MCM #3

If you say you don't love the hashtag mcm your lying to yourself. Man crush Monday is the only good thing about Mondays - Made in Chelsea was also a great thing about Mondays, until they moved it, yes I'm still annoyed by that.

So who is your mcm? You may ask (or not). Drum roll, please.. Welcome to the stage Mr. Luke Hemmings! Before you all tut and sigh over who I picked. Let me say I am 16 so 1. It's completely okay and 2. He is beautiful.

♥︎

(*disclaimer* none of these are my own photos)

This is my favourite picture of him ever and I know it's side profile but doesn't he have such a lovely side profile at that? Also I will shamefully admit I have this picture on my wall. (Don't judge)

LOOK AT THAT LITTLE FACE

I also love his dress sense, it is so perfect (eh get it? she looks so perfect reference sort thing)

He goes from a cute puppy dog...

TO THIS.
Can I also mention he is Australian and has an accent and you know how I feel about an accent.
And lip piercings.
And blonde hair.
He is literally the dream.

Heres some gifs to enjoy:

Lets appreciate his eyes and how gorgeously blue they are.

I love this picture of Luke and Ashton together like wow.

I think I will leave you with that.

Who's your man crush monday?:)

That Time of Year Again..

If you are like me, you will also be facing the non-spoken word of Summer: school. To help cope with the 'joys' of going back, I always get a little carried away on the stationary wagon. I am a complete stationary freak and sadly not all the pens/pencils/markers and the like can fit into my pencil case. Thats how bad it is.

To maybe give you some inspiration (or something?) I will share with you my back to school.. Essentials? .. What I'm bringing back to school?  My stationary haul? I'm really struggling with a way to title it but I'm sure you get the gist!

♥︎

Of course the first thing that caught your eye is my amazing little Ryan Gosling notebook, so I will begin with that. I actually got it as a present from my friend for my birthday and I believe it is from Urban Outfitters, sadly I can't find it on the website but I am pretty sure you can get it elsewhere and it is probably on Ebay!

Moving swiftly on, to my bag. I'm not normally a one-strap kinda gal, I'm used to my trusty Roxy rucksack but I thought it's time for a bit of a change. Whilst in Accessorize I noticed it and I think because it's so plain, that's why I liked it so much? I didn't really want something too stand out-ish and this bag really was perfect for me. It's just the right size and the colour is a simple tan (which I love) and I really feel like it will last long, it just has a real sturdy feel. Also it was £32 which is very reasonable in my opinion and I have heard of a topshop bag breaking in only 4 days and I think it was over £40, so sometimes more expensive items can let you down in quality.

Enjoy my bags great photoshoot..

The little baby pink unicorn pencil case (I swear I'm not still in primary school) may have caught your eye in the picture and it is also from Accessorize. I fell in love with it as soon as I seen it, how can you not to be honest?! It's just SO cute and I know its probably aimed at 6-7 year olds but I think it's just too cute and I had to have it! I think it got a little squished in my bag over the weekend so please excuse the little corner that didn't want to co-ordinate and was sticking up.

(I couldn't resist not giving it a photoshoot too)

(stupid little corner sticking up ruined it.)

On to the less exciting stuff.. I got my cute 'Pugs not Drugs' notebook in Tesco and I'm terrible because I can't remember the price but I'm fairly sure it was around £4.

I got my larger notebook and lots of pens etc from Easons, which is an Irish brand but it is near the exact same as WHSmith as it is basically just a book store. I also got a lot of stationary from Asda if you are wondering:)

The next two items I am going to talk about aren't exactly 'essentials' but I really like to bring them to school with me anyways. If you read my August Favourites you will probably recognise my little bottle of 'Vanilla Lace' by Victoria Secret -  I love this so much and it is really small so it won't take up too much room in your bag so anytime you want a quick spritz of perfume it's always there.

You're probably wondering what the incredibly cute robot shaped thing does, but it is actually a little hand warmer. If you're like me and live somewhere which is incredibly cold and you have to get up early in the morning, (even colder) you will love this. All you have to do is boil your kettle and pour some boiling water over it, the gel in it should sort of melt, you leave it to harden and then when you get cold you click the little metal in it and presto! It starts to heat up and you have yourself toasty hands:) I got mine in poundland and surprise surprise, it was a £1 but I'm pretty sure you can get one of these handy little boys anywhere!

Off I go to cuddle with Ryan Gosling.. Byeee!:)
